Daisy Hill Trail Run

Another trail run at Daisy Hill today with a working GPS however, its batteries died at the 9.9km mark with roughly 700m left to run back to the car. That makes this run approximately an 11km circuit.

My elapsed time is rubbish but I managed nearly 100% forward momentum with very minimal stoppage time. I will probably run this route a few more times before upping the distance to 12km and then 15km

Trail Run

A trail run at Daisy Hill today. I'm not exactly sure of the distance but around 10km and 100 minutes of running. Unfortunately the GPS batteries were dead so I wasn't able to record the route or any data. It has been some months since I was last at Daisy Hill and the rain and floods made the vegetation very green and overgrown and many of the regular bike trails have been closed for maintenance. However, I did run quite a few trails today that I'd never ridden before on the bike. In summary, I good run and the new La Sportiva trail runners held up well being comfortable and providing plenty of grip. In short, trail running is way more enjoyable than pounding the pavement.
